Sanchez contemplating knee surgery
New York Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez is contemplating undergoing surgery on his left knee.
Sanchez suffered an injury in college that caused a stabilization issue with his left knee and went to see Dr. Andrews for an opinion.
It’s not the same knee that Sanchez injured when he dove/slide awkward for a first down against the Buffalo Bills in Toronto.
Andrews also examined that knee during Sanchez’ visit and found no lingering issues.
After missing a game, Sanchez returned to the lineup and looked to have no lasting effects from that injury.
